Interchangeable Brooch Pieces

My brief was to start off by making 2 pieces of jewellery, interchangeable brooch pieces that would fit multiple interchangeable sample pieces. Allowing for plenty of development and experimentation within my designs in my sketchbook. Keeping the reccuring theme of elements running through my pieces I focused more on certain aspects such as material, texture and shape and form that interested me from the start.

Using my own images of the 'Street' I realised I was instantly attracted to depicting both organic subject matter and more man-made subject matter in my sketchbook work.
